2. Information We Collect

Business identification information (name, address, tax ID number)
Contact information (email, phone)
Operational data: food waste records, photographic evidence, collection reports
Geolocation data (to assign nearby NGOs during the PPR process)
Device and app usage data (for technical diagnostics)

3. Purpose of the processing

Compliance with Law 1/2025 on the Reduction of Food Waste
Mandatory record-keeping for shortages and surpluses
Coordination with NGOs and Level 2/3 organizations for food collection
Generation of compliance certificates and legal documentation
Improved service and technical support

4. Legal Basis

The processing is based on: (a) the performance of the service agreement with the user; (b) compliance with a legal obligation (Law 1/2025); (c) legitimate interest in improving the service.

5. Data Retention

Records of inventory losses and inspection reports are retained for 5 years in accordance with food inspection regulations. Account data is retained for the duration of the contract and for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

6. Recipients

Data is not shared with third parties except where required by law or with service providers (hosting, push notifications) that have entered into a data processing agreement in accordance with the GDPR. NGOs and recipient organizations receive only the data necessary for the collection.

7. Mobile app permissions

Camera: to photograph surplus food and document it
Microphone: for recording voice-based inventory counts (AI transcription)
Location: to find NGOs near the facility
Notifications: for PPR escalation alerts and due dates
Storage: for saving evidence photos locally
Biometrics: for secure access to legal records (Face ID / fingerprint)

8. User Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection by writing to [email protected]. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

9. Safety

LogIA implements technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access control, daily backups, and access auditing.

10. Changes to this policy

Any changes will be posted at this same URL. If the changes are significant, we will notify users via email or through a notification in the app.
